U1 · How we test

Five steps, every phone

From the first look to the final seal.

  1. 1

    Outside check

    We look over every scratch, dent or crack on the body and the screen.

  2. 2

    Hardware tests

    Processor, memory, battery, cameras and ports are all tested.

  3. 3

    Battery health

    We measure the battery and match it to the grade.

  4. 4

    Clean and reset

    Everything from the last owner is wiped, and the phone gets a clean install.

  5. 5

    Sign-off

    A final check and our seal before it goes on the shelf or in the post.

Grade A, B or C

Every grade works perfectly. The grade tells you how it looks, how healthy the battery is and what comes in the box.
